Decided against Boteler for the day and am plowing ahead in Madox. Funny - they actually used the word 'crib' in the 16th century to refer to a house.

I wonder what Madox would think about the MTV Cribs show?

Working from home has its rewards, I suppose - but it's so hard to focus, especially if you're me and distracted by something shiny at every turn. I think I shall go to the library, anywhere, tomorrow so that I can get something done.

well here I am, covered in dust and cat fur - having excavated my old laptop. this thing is a 386, windows 3.1, i think, and while i had luckily taken all the files off it - it still would have been nice to be able to use the little cardfile program to pull up stuff....
